Bootstrap Vyos VM for NFV

Hi,
Is there any way to bootstrap the Vyos VM on startup, so that once it gets provisioned, I can configure the ethernet connections? Right now, when it boots up, its a brick. I have to login and then configure for dhcp or static ip on eth0 and configure for ssh, before I can do the really useful stuff. Please let me know, if I am missing something obvious.

Regards,

How about creating a custom VM image that suits your environment?

I recently deployed 8 vyos vm’s and did not want to fool around with the console. These are running on a ‘google compute’ host in a region that only supports 32 bit parasites. Due to this I created a custom vm image that was 32 bit and all Ethernet interfaces came up as dhcp clients. This approach resulted in a painless deployment.
