maybe , it’s something missing in the procedure, try to follow our documentation to bluid an iso or use the rolling-release.

I have the same issue while trying to build VyOS 1.4.
Environment: Debian 11.6 running on Parallels on a Macbook M1 (arm64)
Container vyos/vyos-build:current-arm64
Any idea ?

Package vyos-1x is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source

E: Package 'vyos-1x' has no installation candidate

In case it helps, the error messages I get at the end of the build process:

./build-vyos-image iso --architecture arm64 --build-by "j.randomhacker@vyos.io"
/.../

Sometimes the vyos-1x-* packages are not available or posted on the VyOS repo site. You can just build/package it yourself and slip it into the iso build process. Also make sure to build the container so it has the latest bookworm updates.

Our last successful build was on March 17 2023. Since then we are getting:

Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable

The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:

The VyOS repo has now been updated and vyos-1x packages are downloading properly. Try your build again.

Native build, try this:
./build-vyos-image iso --architecture arm64 --build-by “answer1.0” --custom-apt-entry “deb [arch=arm64] InfluxData - Package Repository bullseye stable” --custom-apt-key /root/vyos-build/influxdata-archive_compat.key

Thanks, it works now by adding the InfluxData repo when launching build-vyos-image !
I have now an ISO.
But I’ll have to investigate another issue :frowning: this time related to the boot process that freezes after “EFI stub: Exiting boot services”
Most probably a compatibility issue between Debian and the Parallels hypervisor on Apple M1 ?

I have encountered a new problem:
Build iso new error ,vyatta-cfg - VyOS Forums

Have you solved your problem?
