Evaluating migration to VyOS from pfSense

Hi,

VyOS seems pretty powerful and with feature parity to pfSense, so I’m looking into switching over to it.

Is there any documentations about the commands other than the User Guide ? I definitely can’t seem to find it.

For instance, in pfSense I could register the dhcp static mappings with the DNS forwarding service, so name resolution would work with my internal machines.

How can I do the same with VyOS ?

I’ve seen that it uses dnsmasq internally, but I’d like to stay with the formal api rather than touch config files directly (dnsmasq’s for example).

Hope someone can provide assistance.
