GRE tunnel

#1

Hello.

First off, working in a VMware environment with VyOS. Trying to setup a GRE tunnel between two networks. The one VyOS system has two interfaces (inside/outside) and the other “central” VyOS has 4 (outside/localA/localB/localC). I’ve been following the old Vyatta guides mostly because I’m using IPSEC and couldn’t find a non-IPSEC example in the newer wiki documentation. I am using VMXNET3 adapters on my VMs because I saw a mention of a bug with E1000 interfaces. I also upgraded from 1.1.6 to 1.1.7. I also have several other routers with inside/outside setups and they all share routes w/ OSPF. I have a system w/ a static IP behind each router for testing… I can ping from behind my other routers to the system just fine behind my “central” router just fine. The new routers in question can ping each other just fine. I was wondering if there’s a few extra options i need to enable? Or some parameters to tweak?

This config is:

bridge br0 {
}
tunnel tun0 {
encapsulation gre-bridge
local-ip 192.168.0.15
parameters {
ip {
bridge-group {
bridge br0
}
}
remote-ip 192.168.0.10
}
ethernet eth0 {
address 192.168.0.15/24
}
ethernet eth1 {
bridge-group {
bridge br0
}
}
