How can i add second asn protocols in a same vyos- router

#1

i have one asn bgp network in my existing router , when i try add 2nd (asn) protocols in the same router , im getting below

set protocols bgp 133451 neighbor 113.22.10.1 remotw-as 300

cannot set node “133451” number of values exceeds limit (1 allowed)

im had go go thru same forum ., with below info:

On Vyatta, VyOS, Cisco and most other platforms you can only use one ASN.

it mean that i need to setup another router for the second (new asn network ?

i only got one uplink from ISP , is there any way to setup add in the new asn prefix ip network ?

Thanks in advance

I think we can only assign one ASN network per VyOS router.

#3

set protocols bgp 132220 neighbor 10.10.20.2 local-as 45194

USE LOCAL-AS COMMAND IF YOU HAVE 2 ASN

#4

set protocols bgp 132220 neighbor 10.10.20.2 local-as 45194

USE LOCAL-AS COMMAND IF YOU HAVE 2 ASN

Example:-

rajkumar@vyos# show protocols bgp
bgp 132220 { --------------------- Primary ASN
neighbor 10.10.20.2 {
ebgp-multihop 2

  •    local-as 45194 {  --------------------- Secondary ASN

  •    }
       password #######
       remote-as 4755
       update-source 10.10.20.1

    }

in above example eBGP is establishing between ASN45194 ( Where as AS132220 primary) with remote AS 4755
