Just to Enquire , Was your problem resolved of achieving Higher bandwidth than 1gbps over ipsec Tunnel ?
We just upgraded our Bandwidth and facing the same issue .
Any work around for this ?
Hi @vishalgahlawat - Welcome to the Vyos forums.
While I appreciate your issue is similar, I think you’d be much better of starting a seperate thread than raising up this one that’s 5 years old.
There are much newer version of Vyos with much newer kernels etc, newer versions of Strongswan. If you’re having performance issues it would help to post the version you’re using, if it’s a hardware device or a Virtualised device, the type(s) of NICs etc etc.
In a seperate thread it’ll be much easier to track and help you.

PS: You’ll notice the original poster was able to get over 1Gbps once they moved to a more powerful machine.
