It turns out that I have a very rare setup and I’m struggling with configuring it successfully.
I need to connect wirelessly to mi ISP’s router (which is in bridge mode) and open a PPPoE connection on the wireless link. I have access to the ISP’s router and can configure it, but I cannot run a cable to it.
- First it took me 2 days to find out VyOS cannot connect to a hidden (SSID) wireless network (bug?).
- Now that I’ve unhid the SSID on the ISP’s router and connected to it, I cannot figure out how to setup PPPoE on the wlan(x) interface in VyOS. PPPoE is unavailable on a bridge too.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
