I accidentally installed a 64-bit image on a 32-bit system so now of course it won’t boot. Is there any way to recover from that by booting the live CD? Or, do I have to do a complete re-install?
Thanks.

Hello Dan,
have you a copy of the last working config.boot?
In that case I would suggest to re-install and restore the configuration.

Thanks. I ended up modifying grub to boot a previous image and then installed the correct 1.0.3 image.

Ok, nice news :).
