I’d first look at MAC source addresses, to see where rst originates from. And then worry about its TTL

I think it was a bug on vyos. I had an unused eth3 interface which was causing asymmetric routing. Invisible in the vyos logs.

Not sure this is a bug. afaik, all linux interfaces will respond when arp is received for some other interface IP
This even occurs for interfaces that don’t have IP address assigned.
