VC5 and VC6

I figured this would be the best place to ask.

I have a new client that has VC5 and VC6 firewalls. The config dumps are an absolute text wall and I’m new to the Vyatta family. Any way to get this in a format easier to digest? I’m not necessarily suggesting changing the config file format, more looking for tricks others have used to make big configs easier to digest.

I have a lot of work ahead of me.

Hello,

see two commands:

show configuration
and
show configuration commands

They provide different output.

“Commands” doesn’t seem to be valid.

lcladmin@Vyatta-Core:~$ show configuration
all

I think this works on those old systems:

/opt/vyatta/sbin/vyatta-config-gen-sets.pl >/opt/vyatta/etc/config/config.commands less /opt/vyatta/etc/config/config.commands
