Started as a WAN engineer, using Case DCX statmux equipment. Dabbled in SNA and ATM, finished with Cisco and Juniper. Still own two Cisco IGS routers. Moved into network and datacentre architecture and design. Burned out completely. Did nothing for a while. Picked my old programming hobby back up. Now run a managed hosting and web application development company. Next up: retirement.
