Hi, cisco can do this where in backup routes can be advertised by RR to client. How can we do this in VYOS?
I guess you mean advertising a route with a lower local-pref?
It is impossible to advertise inactive routes now as FRR doesn’t support it
yes that is right . Just wanted to see backup paths on some routers
Also, it’s possible that you need to enable the multi-path on bgp router-client , so it allows to bgp process install a backup on RIB.
