Can we install vyos on Cisco Routers

Hi Guys,

I have Cisco 1811 model and wondering if Vyos can be installed on those routers? Or is there any other way by which Vyos can be installed through TFTP.

My ultimate goal is to install those on Cisco Routers.

Once you load the image via TFTP how are you going to run it? I’m going to say you probably cannot do that. But I am not totally sure.

You just need Cisco specifications for the Freescale SC8517, write your code to get it going and port everything to it. Then you have reached your goal :wink:

In other words, if you don’t want to run your Cisco 1811 with IOS, you should probably look for some other hardware.
