Default Messages Logging

Hi all,

Hi All,

I have enabled logging on my Vyatta vRouter and set the archive for 15 files at 10000 size. i am keeping the location of the logging as default “Messages” on the local file system but there seems to be an issue…

The Messages log just keeps building even after i set the files and size. I commited and saved changes sucessfully but i dont see it rolling off one log file “Messages” into “Message.1” and it creating a new “Messages” log.

What have i missed? Have any of you seen this before? Any insight will be great.

Vyatta vRouter is a supported product by Brocade, probably you should open a support ticket with them.
