How to force install other RTL8111/8168/8169 Driver

There is an issue that needs to be resolved regarding the Realtek RTL8111/8168/8169 network driver.

Currently this ethernet card works but is not stable (long time disconnect pppoe, poor performance) with default firmware from debian kernel:

firmware-version: rtl8168g-2_0.0.1 06/02/13

This is the latest firmware version of the network card.

This is support but I can’t install vyos (because lack of packages)

Is there a way to set the default?
