Implementing dual WAN for the purposes of high availability in VyOS

Has anyone implemented dual WAN in a VyOS router for the purposes of load balancing? I have two ISPs, both DHCP, that I am looking to use in a high availability scheme to ensure connectivity is maintained.
The ISPs are not equal though as one is fiber and one is copper.
Preference would be given to the fiber with the copper being designated backup in case fiber went down. They are both, always on and physically connected into the router but not configured.
