In case someone runs into an installation issue on newer Super Micro boards
Vyos would not recognize bios raided drives
When I set the drives as non raid ahci the system would see the drives but not write to them.
Setting the drives to IDE in the bios I was then able to get the system to install.
Vyos was able to create a raid group and move files over.
