Kernel stack dumps generated

Hi,

I recently starting setting up a new machine based on rolling release:
Version: VyOS 1.3-rolling-202012010217
Release Train: equuleus

Hardware is the same as another router I set-up in July.
This release generates a lot of messages with stack dumps for a ‘BUG’

Dec 3 02:58:11 rtr-nbd-2 kernel: [139192.627312] BUG: Bad page state in process systemd-journal pfn:43b5b4

Searching Google I did find some references with bugs for a bad page state in systemd-journal but these results date back to 2015.

Is this a bug or is this hardware/software issue on my end?

Thanks,

Ton

This could likely be a Kernel issue, we have upgraded to 4.19.161 today so please check with tomorrows rolling release if the error persists with the latest kernel.

Could you also share some more messages arround this one? Like in which function this happened?

I updated this morning. Will report back if the messages have stopped. They appeared only after a few hours of uptime.

Thanks for the feedback.
Ton

After updating to the new release the messages have stopped.

Thanks.
