Hi,
I’m trying to setup a dual-wan setup with VyOS. This works and the connection automatically fails over when the connection is down.
There are 2 problems, the primary ISP has IPv6 support and the backup ISP does not.
The problem is that if the primary ISP goes down for some reason, the clients do not have internet because IPv6 is down.
It takes a while for IPv6 to fail over to IPv4 (for every address) and then the clients also do not have DNS.
So clients will have to wait for IPv6 to fail and then have to wait for DNS to fail.
Do you guys have a suggestion how i could correct this problem?
