Hello,
I was wondering if VyOS supports MT7922 card for M2 and also AP mode? My wifi requirements are rather low and I was looking for wifi card that could do AP which also won’t cause me too much issues with configuration.
if MT7922 is not good, then which card would suffice? Obviously i would like to have newest technologies but if that means sacrificing stability then id rather look for alternatives. My devies are mostly 2.4G only.
I dont think so if the linux driver is named MT7921E:
The driver causes kernel panics so Im guessing a new attempt will be made with kernel 6.8 once thats being used:

Might be related patches (no idea if they have anything to do with the kernel panics seen in 6.6):

I have Windows 10 insalled on this PC as well, and Wi-Fi works fine there.
Fast boot is disabled. Secure boot disabled.
Any suggestions?
As far as I am aware MT7921 is different than MT7922 but i could be wrong.
if not this card then which one would be working out of the box?
Ok then is there any alternative that is sure to work? Does not have to be wifi 6
