Outbound Static Route based on Source IP

Hello,

This has got to be a basic question, but how can I set up an outbound route for traffic from a specific source IP inside our network so that it preferences one of two WAN connections?

Background:

We have 2 ISPs and we are using BGP with both of them. We have all static IPs on the network. There’s NAT, at least not related to the ISPs.

We have a need to make sure that all traffic from a small subnet, say a /29, gets routed out one of the ISPs. We want to override the routes created by BGP, but just for this /29.

Any suggestions where to start with that?

Thanks ,

-Nick

Can you attach a simple network diagram/config?

Hey @nvoth, to me this sounds like you might want to check out VyOS Policy Based Routing
