Is there a way to save uncommitted configuration changes? I entered some configuration for an interface that doesn’t exist, so it’s not possible to commit it. But I would like to save it so when I fix my setup I can load it again later.
I also want to know the answer to this question
This is not a good idea, but you can manually edit the file /config/config.boot
and add necessary config parts. This is not safe but it can help in some cases.
I wouldn’t edit config.boot directly – I would edit a second config then load it.
It would be nice if I was able to use save /config/config.tmp
with an uncommitted config so I can load it later.
Hi @akvadrako
you can have as much config on your system as you want. Just load the file in config context.
