  1. Are there supposed to be two subscriptions or just one (the one at the bottom)?

  2. When typing in email and clicking on subscribe is something supposed to happen (like a thank you message or something)?

  3. Didnt notice this before but why are there 15 different privacy evading trackers on https://vyos.io ?

Hi @Apachez,

Let me double-check with our internal team who manage the website, and I’ll get back to you.

Thanks,
Joe

Hi @Apachez,

I’ve discussed your questions with our internal team, and here’s what they had to say:

  1. We do have two subscription options available: one in the sidebar and footer on the blog page is for subscribing to the blog updates, and the other is on the “Press Release” page.

  2. After submitting the form, there is a thank-you message displayed. I’ve attached screenshots below for reference.

    Press_Release 2023-09-18 150545

  3. Our web development team is aware of the issue you mentioned, and they are actively working to resolve it as soon as possible.

Best regards,
Joe

Check!

Blog, subscription is to the right sidebar: https://blog.vyos.io/

Press releases, visit https://vyos.io/ and click on “About Us” in the topmenu and then to the left (expanded submenu) click on “Press Releases” - directlink: VyOS - Press Releases

However the registration at the press page says “Subscribe to blog updates”. Which means its the same registration as on the blog or do you have two separate?

@Apachez We need to update that to say “Subscribe to press release updates”. Thank you for bringing these to our attention.

Thanks,
Joe

Hi @Apachez,

I wanted to inform you that we have updated the Press Releases subscription form to now read ‘Subscribe to Press Releases’. This change is intended to prevent any potential confusion with the bog subscription form.

Again, thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Best regards,
Joe
