i keep gettign the following error when trying to connect using native windows vpn client .
my client is windows 10 .

Error 789: The L2TP connection attempt failed because the security layer encountered a processing error during initial negotiations with the remote computer.
is there a way to see logs on the vyos router?

I have the same problem a year later.
789 appears to be related to DPD not doing its stuff, so the poor client is stuffed until it clears out the old peer (an hour?)
As to why it drops, It appears to be related to rekeying by the server causing windows clients to fall off.
