Upgrading from 1.1.8 to the latest 1.3 rolling release

I’ve got a VM running just doing normal static and OSPF routing. Am thinking of loading the 1.3 rolling release on a new VM and just copy the configuration from the old version to the latest rolling release version. Or can I just do the apt-get upgrade option ?

Any tips/help will be really appreciated

Its much easier, just see the update section of the docs: Update VyOS — VyOS 1.4.x (sagitta) documentation

Thanks @c-po. So I can just upgrade that way from 1.1.8 to the latest rolling version ?

Yes, that’s correct.
