Upgrading python to 3.6?

Hello,
How do you upgrade python on vyos machine to version 3.6?.

Current python (version 2.6.6 if i remember correctly) doesn’t support the “import requests” package and the syntax in comparison to version 3.6 is different.
Is there a way to do so?.

I am wondering why you want to do anything with python on your ROUTER.

I guess if you added Debian repos and installed a newer version? You’re asking for trouble when you start changing python on a system like this.
