V1.1.5: vyos password lost

I have Vyos 1.1.5 installed, for unknown reason, default user name/pw: vyos/vyos stopped working, had found no way to recover it. Has anyone experienced same issue ? how do you resolve this?

when you reboot it, select the GRUB option for ‘Lost Password Change’

I did try that , but it didn’t work, but unfortunatelly I can’t remember exactly what message was. I then rebuilt it as it wasn’t in prodcution

Just curious anyone else had this issue, I know there was a password problem related to old version as described in http://forum.vyos.net/showthread.php?tid=7736
