VLAN setup in Vyos

Hello

I am trying to setup several VLANs in an existing VYOS router. I have added the VLANs and their addresses using the set interfaces ethernet eth1 command, and they appear in the show config command. I then did the commit and save commands. Is there something else I need to do for this to work? Is there a way to ping the IP of the VYOS router, as I get no response, and therefore cannot tell if this is working. When I ping from a computer with an IP on the VLAN, I get no response.

depends on what the topology of the network is. Are you doing NAT with these VLANs? You might need to configure that.

I found the problem, which was inside the NetGear switch that connects to the VYOS router. Thanks for the information and your time.
