VRRP firewall rules

I setup a vrrp to test out and I can’t for the life of me figure out where the vrrp firewall rule should be. I applied it to the interface but it doesn’t seem to be blocking anything. Is there a specific place for virtual-address firewall rules?

Would like to block any traffic on the interface (public facing)
