The issue is this:
01:00.0 Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation Device 1521 (rev 01) <<<<<<<<<<Not being detected properly?
01:00.1 Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation Device 1521 (rev 01)<<<<<<<<<<Not being detected properly?
01:00.2 Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation Device 1521 (rev 01)<<<<<<<<<<Not being detected properly?
01:00.3 Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation Device 1521 (rev 01)<<<<<<<<<<Not being detected properly?
02:00.0 Ethernet controller: Broadcom Corporation NetXtreme II BCM5716 Gigabit Ethernet (rev 20)
02:00.1 Ethernet controller: Broadcom Corporation NetXtreme II BCM5716 Gigabit Ethernet (rev 20)
So, having said that, I first realized there was an issue when:
Upon IP Assignment, I could ping the interface locally (Ping 192.168.1.1/30 from 192.168.1.1/30)
However, I could not ping “out” from that interface (ping 192.168.1.2/30 from 192.168.1.1/30)
Other box with fresh install exhibited this behavior, I just opted to move to the onboard broadcom nic’s for now, as they work normally.
Now, it’s a driver issue, I know that much, but I guess my question is, does VyOS 1.1.8 (helium) not have driver support for i350T4v2 Network Adapters? I find that rather odd, for the reason of, I bought these network adapters off of eBay. The seem to work just fine in my FreeBSD based firewall distros. Just curious, thanks!
