Hello, I have been working on algorithms to improve QoS through assignment of OFDMA Resource Units. The basic idea of the algorithm is to assign the resource units according to the type of data each station is exchanging, for example, to improve speed or reduce latency. This work is purely for research and I have been working with simulations. However, I would like to test the designed algorithms in a real access point.
I am new to VyOS and I would like to know if it is possible to modify the OFDMA scheduler algorithm that assigns the resource units in WiFi 6, so I can test multiple algorithms and compare the performance of each one.
