Wireguard interface

Hi
Have setup Wireguard on Vyos 1.3.x
Everything is working fine.
Just wondering, how does Wireguard interface wg0 know how to listen on my public (eth0) interface for connections?

Wireguard listening address is 0.0.0.0 which means it listens on all IP addresses configured on the router including localhost.
