Can’t access to files. They are restricted
I assume since I uploaded them to the form they are hosted somewhere on your end? Do I have do something to grant you access?
Nvm I found it. I have fixed it now.
I believe this new syntax can also be expanded to support zone based firewall, is there any plan from the team to re include zone based firewall with the new syntax before 1.4 gets into stable?
Haha this explains my config file size today. I hadn’t noticed any issues, I just checked my backup to refer to an unrelated setting and had a shock.
All good, it’s a dev build and I appreciate you’re positioning the software for greater flexibility. I’m also impressed that the upgrade script didn’t break anything for me (that I can tell). I have rolled back anyway - although it works, I can’t be confident it is safe until I understand it myself.
When I find the time I’ll rebuild and test the firewall from scratch following the new paradigm. As seamless as the upgrade script was, I suspect doing a 1-1 clone of my old config has made it bigger than it needs to be, and once I understand the new method I can probably achieve my goals with less.
