Address family for hostname not supported (OpenVPN, Static IP)

Trying to work with the following

show interfaces openvpn vtun0

...
 remote-host 66.115.168.19
 remote-port 1198
...

But I’m seeing the following failures:

Is this a regression of OpenVPN doesn't accept it's local address?

Believe I just answered this same question/issue in another section of the forum

I had this issue before and fixed it by using a solution provided by @raeven on Slack. Try setting openvpn-option “–proto udp4” on the interface. As soon as I did this, I was no longer getting errors resolving or determining protocol and openvpn began working as expected.
