Welcome to VyOS Community!

We are thrilled to have you here! Whether you’re a new member or an existing member, we are grateful for your participation in building and supporting our online community. VyOS community was created with the goal to allow our members the opportunity to learn, collaborate, share ideas and best practices, and to connect with other networking professionals. We hope you find the VyOS community to be a welcoming and supportive place for you.

Where do I start?

Here are some options for you.

  • We encourage you to explore our forums, and engage with other members of the community. You can introduce yourself to the VyOS community here.
  • You can review our VyOS community guidelines.
  • Our Slack Channel is a real-time communication to discuss, collaborate, and share information.
  • Our VyOS Source Code provides all the code necessary to build and install the VyOS operating system.
  • VyOS Phabricator allows you to track the status of bug reports and features requests.
  • Become a Contributor! It is a great way to get involved in the open-source community and help improve VyOS products.

Welcome to the VyOS community!

We would like to walk you through the step-by-step process of setting up and managing your profile and notifications settings for the VyOS community.

Step 1: Join the VyOS community

If you haven’t already, you can create a VyOS community account by clicking on the “Sign Up” button.

Step 2: Log in to your account

Once you have created your account, click on the “Log In” button.

Step 3: Updating your profile

After logging in, click on your “Avatar” icons in the top right corner of the page.

Click on “Preferences”

You can upload a profile picture and edit your personal information in the profile section.

Step 4: Notification settings

Click on the “Notifications” link to access your notifications settings.

In the notifications section, you can adjust your notifications settings based on your preferences. You can choose to receive notifications for new messages, replies to your posts, track categories, mute a specific category, and allow particular users to send you personal messages or chat direct messages.

Step 5: Privacy settings

Click on “Interface” to hide your profile, and presence features from the public.

Step 6: Account security

Click on the “Security” tab to manage your account security. In this section, you can change your password, enable two-factor authentication for added security, and view your login history.

Step 7: Manage email notifications

Click on the “Email” link to manage your email notifications. You can choose to receive emails for new posts, mentions, and private messages.
