This seems to be the same issue as Updating VyOS does not run grub-update
When trying to update an October version of 1.5 to the latest rolling release - after reboot it returns to the previous release.
I’ve tried several of the rolling releases that are currently available, including the oldest from November, 16th of December (following the ticket above), 31st of December, an early January version I don’t remember, and of course the latest version.
When booting - I can only get the option in grub for the old version, and no matter what I try I don’t seem to be able to update to allow the new image to be added to grub.
Any assistance would be amazing!
