If I would install one WiFi adapter in my VyOS router, is it possible to configure two WLAN sub-interfaces, one running in station mode connecting to the internet and the other one running in WAP mode to provide network access to clients?
Regarding the documentation about WLAN/WiFi interfaces this should be possible but I want to make sure that I understood it correctly.
Does anyone has a short example about this part of the configuration as I currently don’t have a WiFi adapter to test with?
Is there anything specific to look for when buying a WiFi adapter that has to support both modes?
I am asking this question because of my other post about a mobile router for travelling.
